Does glitter belong inside a candle? That’s up to debate. There are so many different types of glitter and most candle makers pick something biodegradable that is “plant” based as opposed to plastic. We do not believe glitter belongs anywhere near a candle, no matter how “biodegradable” they say it is. There are no actual benefits either, it’s merely for aesthetics.
We might be going against the grain here, but in a world filled with chemicals in almost all the products and food we use and consume, what if we made a candle with as little chemicals as possible. What if this small company can help one person feel relief knowing we aren’t adding anything extra simply for cosmetic purposes.
No one should have to suffer headaches or allergens due to a candle. And if that means no glitter, a plain candle, and natural ingredients, then so be it. We want people to enjoy the scent of our candles to help them relax and sleep. This is why our candles are made with intention.
The next time you see any candle with glitter, ask yourself, is it really worth exposing you and your family to harmful chemicals? Just a thought.
