Soma Candles was founded this year by Angelica Nevarez and Danny Somarriba, with a passion for candles and a desire not to use harsh chemicals. 

We focused on creating a great candle with intention, affordability, and wonderful aromas to awaken the senses.

Angelica Nevarez

Born and raised in San Francisco, Angelica has always had a passion for candles and also being compassionate with others which led her to creating a great candle with self-care in mind. Prior to starting Soma Candles, Angelica gained a professional background in broadcasting and healthcare. Although Angelica believes in ensuring others have the best self-care, she enjoys spending time with her partner Danny, her pets, and spending time with family.

Danny Somarriba

Danny grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and attended college at The Art Institute of California - San Francisco where he received his degree in Advertising. After graduating, Danny was a natural when it came to collaborating with others and having a passion to care for others. He and Angelica now share the passion of candles and compassion together. Danny loves spending time with his family, his pets, and a great brain teaser.
