There is a standard legal requirement created by ASTM International that needs to be included on all candle warning labels. It is suggested to burn a candle for no more than 4 hours at a time. Some may disregard this advice, however it is recommended to follow the 4 hour rule. Candle vessels may overheat and crack potentially causing damage to furniture and flooring. Any candle may be susceptible to these dangers.
We highly recommend burning any candle for less than 4 hours. If you are that person that enjoys to light a candle and leave it lit until it extinguishes itself, then please make sure you take proper precautions. This may include using a pan or large dish to isolate the candle if it happens to crack or tip over. Candle companies are not responsible for any damage that may be caused from misuse.
